Even froggies get the blues

Soon after the death of Jim Henson, Kermit the Frog turned to a life full of drugs, alcohol and sex. His fall to rock-bottom was quick and unrelenting.

I am equal parts disturbed and amused… Okay, maybe that’s more like a 60/40 split.

    So disturbing, and yet good enough that the muppet addict in me had to watch the whole thing. I like the small touches, like the flies and spiders in the vomit. I don’t know how to describe it, bitter sweet humor maybe.
    I can’t decide if I should forward this on to the other muppet fans that I know or not….So disturbing.

    Part of me just died. This video pierced through my tough and manufactured veneer right to the core of my, the place where my childhood memories live unscathed by a lifetime of misanthropy. A tiny piece of that soft, pink underbelly of my soul just shriveled up and wasted away.
    My childhood is now truly over.
