Four Minutes With Truman

Okay, so this is pretty much the definition of excessive, but seeing how Tru has been kind of getting the short end of the posting stick round these parts lately, I figured it’s his due.

This is what I do when I’m not blogging: I spend hours laughing at my dog. No, seriously.

Feel free to openly mock me for my cloying dog-talk banter. But really, if you were going to talk to Truman, what would YOU say?

Anyway, please to enjoy the Trumantastic awesome with your morning coffee and a danish of your choice:

This post is dedicated to one of my all-time favorite visual artists, Robert Rauschenberg, who passed away two nights ago. I feel certain he would have understood and appreciated the Abstract Expressionism inherent in the soul of Truman’s being. RIP, Bob.

We have that toy, too! We refer to him as "Hedge-of-Hog," as if he were a member of the aristocracy. Dogs LOVE shit that snorts.

  • Megan

Oh my God, he's so loud and adorable and awesome, LOVE HIM!! We've been researching pugs lately and some site was like, "Pugs are known for snorting, snoring, and farting." And that is so hilarious, it makes me want one even more.

I love Truman. He is so sweet. My Pug Claire and he would love to play together sometime. She has a very, very bad parrot.
    Claire sends Truman some snorts.

    Love. This.
Oh Truman- the snorting, the FIERCE growling, the tail wagging ever so slightly, the facial expressions, the tongue!, the nails scrabbling frantically….sigh…
    I am IN LOVE. :)
Thanks for sharing Truman's awesomeness with us!

My 5 year old son loooves Truman. He was so excited when I told him that there was a Truman video on your site today. 'Truman! I love Truman!' We had to watch it twice. The poor kid has two cats at home and they are not nearly as much fun as your dog.

OMG!! His mean ferocious growls made me snort coffee through my nose! Then top it off with the tongue out smile – coffee revisited. I think I am in love!

Okay, after all your Truman posts, I may have to rethink my Pug position in my post today.
    He's adorable.
