Mama Speaks has a post up about Sleep Is For The Weak that contains interviews with Editor Rita Arens, and contributors Doug French (Laid Off Dad) and myself.
I talk a bit about what subjects I *won’t* blog about (almost nothing, am shameless), how I got into blogging (was lured by the sex and drugs), and how I feel about the "mommyblogger" label (am considering tattooing it on one or both asscheeks), among other things. Yes indeedy, it’s a thrill-a-minute — hold onto your hats and PREPARE TO BE DAZZLED!
(I do mention Language Poetry at one point. And I think it goes without saying that the blazing-hot excitement of the Language Poetry movement is such that some of you may need to keep smelling salts handy whilst you read, in case you are unexpectedly felled by an attack of the nervous/excitable vapors.)
Anyway, I’m just so ridiculously pleased to be in this book I’d pretty much dance like a monkey if Rita Arens asked me to. I’d willingly wear the funny tassled hat and everything.
