[face::palm] More Palin/Couric (now with extra Grampa!)

Could these two sound any more bumbling and incoherent? Is that even POSSIBLE?

Someone on DIGG said: "These two appear far from presidential. They look like a nervous couple trying to get approved for a loan." – BINGO. (weeps)

Right on. Also, that collar on her jacket is just… not a good style for her.

I weep for your country. Seriously. Did you see the video on avitable.com today?
And this bailout plan is ridiculous – had there been a universal health care plan in place for the citizens of America, so many people would not have foreclosed on their homes and none of this would have happened. It's like Bush is trying to drive one last nail in the coffin of American families. GOOD LUCK.

grrrr. why oh why are these polls so close?

  • Tara

The polls are close because the pollsters often pick and choose who they are polling. If this wasn't the case, then all of the polls done would have exactly the same result. It could also be that there is a frightening number of voters out there who truly do believe that this is a great ticket. *shudder*
I had heard someone suggest that all of the "close" polls are the result of a right-wing set up so that when they rig the unprotected electronic voting machines, it won't look so implausible for McCain/Palin to have won. Who knows if it is true or not but it does beg closer scrutiny, to be sure. Yay conspiracy theories!
