i followed over and read the piece and your comment. (i started from the bottom of the comments - :)) i get that all the time too. my daughter's also 2 and a half so the meltdown/strangers staring comes with the territory!! haha! the worst part is her big meltdowns make me laugh and laugh!! so then i just get more stares - oh, you horrible, abusive mother, laughing and taking camera phone pictures of your daughter's temper tantrums!! LOL

Hello! I'm just delurking to tell you, thanks for the link...I just blew off a few hours of work just to read all of these! I'm expecting but not showing yet. I'm sure I'll have a drive by soon enough! BTW...I love your site! I just move to Harford County from Michigan. Take care

Loving Target? *not feigning disgust* For shame! Do you know how much money they gave to the RNC in the last election? Shop at Price Club. They gave 100% of their campaign contrabutions to the DNC. Or don't. (sorry for being all political 'n shit)

Great thread... this is why I am scared to join the local parent's network in my gentrified zip code... it's my Graco vs. their Peg Perego stroller!
