speaking of emails, did you get mine??
nice article, though i wish someone would come to a show and *review* it so it would be more interesting than just an informational piece. not that information is bad! information = good! gets them in the door, anyway.
the "perez said" parts kept throwing me off. heh.

Tracy,
I didn't know you organized that.
That is a really good idea. How do you find the bands? I would love to get something like that going in Minneapolis.
I knew you were cool, but now you are like COOOOOOOL. Way cool

Tracey-
That is awesome you are putting this together in your freaking backyard!! There is a club called 12 Galaxies here in SF (where my band has played) that has a series of "Kids" shows that are just as much for their punker parents. Featured bands include The Sippy Cups (they give kids pogo-ing dance lessons and do Ramones covers et al - www.thesippycups.com) and School of Rock, a who tribute band. (www.schoolofrock.com) They start their concerts in the middle of the day when the club would otherwise be dark. Rawk on. (Devil's Horns furiously pointing skyward!)

Damn my small backyard and antisocial tendencies.
I wish I could bring my kids and rock with you all.
