November 03, 2005

come in, pull up a chair, and share with me my blog fangirl moment, won't you?

i'm thinking about having 11.3.05 tattooed on my right upper arm... delicate script numbers, of course... perhaps encircled by a wreath of flowers, with tiny birds flitting around the numbers... or do you think that might look, you know, cheap?

anyway, just so we're clear about what a complete and utter dork i am. i know i should be cooler about this (or at least pretend to be cooler), but i'm just plain not all that cool, and i'm really really bad at pretending to be anything i'm not.

okay, i'm done. thanks for humoring me.

Took me a while to get there, but now that I see the momentous event and recognize it for its awesomeness, I would totally get the tattoo. But you just know she'd rather it were on your boob. Also, the deal with the tiny initials of love wouldn't be bad, either. You know, like you carve into a tree (or your desk) when you're 11?

I'll assume that you weren't all giggley over MY inane comments. Haha!

A very cool moment, indeed.

i was thinking, in retrospect, that i should've said something about including an anchor and/or flaming heart, but the moment's passed and i'm too slow on the draw. dammit.

I once had somebody recognize me from Usenet - he said, "Hey, aren't you that asshole from..." It went downhill from there.

Not that you've had a sighting, you're ready for the next step: internet stalker!

Which reminds me, I live in the Baltimore area... (JUST KIDDING!)

jemaleddin -- though getting recognized was indeed a, umm, treat, the event this post references isn't that. see the comments on my earlier 'irritated and frothing' post for clarification.

I'M A DORK.

but a well-loved dork. [kickass!]

Here's the funny thing: I'd blush and giggle if sweetney left a comment on my site!
