After The Flood.

Its been raining for forty days and nights it seems. This morning, miraculously, its dry and sunny.

After The Flood.
The garden approves.

After The Flood.

I love these crazy pink pineapple flowers.

After The Flood.

(I have no idea what the actual name for them is, of course.)

After The Flood.

Droplets.

After The Flood.

A hydrangea flower ready to explode.

After The Flood.

(Exploded.)

After The Flood.

After The Flood.

After The Flood.
There's a full-on SEA of these in our front garden now.

That is a truly gorgeous collection of flowers....you have a lovely garden.

Sweetney, I'm scared. It's so nice out right now, but the RAIN, IT IS A-COMIN back!

boutros: for reals, don't say that! you're just taunting it!

i refuse to believe it can actually rain more. i mean, someone's gotta put a stop to that shit, man...

Those crazy pink pineapple flowers look to me like monarda, commonly known as bee balm. That stuff is great; it's so pretty, and it spreads from year to year.

i thought Monarda too, or Bee Balm, i think is the common name. maybe.

loverly!
