Thank you Easter Bunny! (bawk! bawk!)

Jamie was out of town this past weekend, so M and I spent our Easter morning at the Baltimore Zoo, enthusiastically  participating in the continued enslavement and subjugation of our animal brethren FOR THE KICKS, BRO. Oh and while we were keepin' other species down, we also had breakfast with the Easter (totally fake, dude in a suit) Bunny, who is apparently in cahoots with The Man, and a traitor to his own kind. Bastard.

All told, it was a lovely day. And here's the photographic evidence to prove it:

Did your Easter involve animal oppression by any chance? Because I'm sensing a theme here.

Oh my gosh- M is SO cute!! She looks really great in that light yellow color, too.
Plus, is that the "Roaming Gnome" on her shirt? Because that is Teh Awesome. Can I get one in my size, plz? Kthxbai :)

Um- I just looked at the rest of the photos and realized it's a DRESS- and I STILL really want one! Perhaps even more so now.
Also, those pictures of her with the bunnies (real and in a suit) are overflowing with cuteness. :)

I want that dress. Badly. And for me and not my kid.

I want her jacket! She seemed very game for photos on Easter. NICE.

Every day is Animal Oppression Day around here, zoo or no zoo. Just ask our Subjugated Siamese, who occasionally stage FREE SIAM rallies in our living room and then are brutally repressed by our one-girl Red Guard.

THAT DRESS! OMG. LOVE.

We have a bunny in a bunny condo (for reals). Piglet thinks its the EB and let it out Saturday night so it could deliver the candy. I guess its mind control and hypnosis of him worked, cause its free.

Love M's dress. I can't believe the fake bunyy tried to eat your baby. :-)

No animal oppresion here, I suck.

It looks like the Easter Bunny is trying to eat your child in some of those shots! Those life-sized suits freak me out.

those bunnies are HUGE. like scary huge. especially the one that almost ate M. good thing they're in a zoo...

Oh, sweet. What a lovely girl. I am jealous you are one of those moms who can do hair. I could not get the ponytails even no matter now hard I would try...so thank goodness my kid looks good in a super short cut.

Seriously--where did you get that dress? I have some of that fabric and I LOVE it and my daughter would be adorable in something like that! Too bad I don't have enough anymore to make a dress. :(

Freaking adorable.

Depends on who you ask.

Me sitting on my kids head and eating all her chocolate while she screams something that sounded like 'Muuuuuum you are hurting me' or oppressing me or something. I dunno.

Damn the chocolate was good.

Ooooh, you said 'animal oppression'. Yeah, we own a rabbit.

Pig-tail cuteness factor is too overwhelming for this early. Oh, and...

Must. Have. Gnome. Shirt.

Where did you get it?

re: the gnome dress: i got it at http://bediboo.com/ -- she opened a store just down the street from me recently, and i know she has a few of those dresses left for kidlets... sadly i was told that the fabric is out of print, so no gnome dress for me either :(

I went to the site, but couldn't find the dress. However, I FOUND THE GNOME DRESS at this super cute baby store called Twilite Moon. And it's on sale! Love it!!
